The affix of 'Danmelad' has not been around for that long, only a year or so now. How the actual affix came about is another story--which might well be told elsewhere on these pages. We have been 'in the breed' for a little over seven years now and, in that time, have had some success at the various shows up and down the country.
Whatever success we have had in the last--or may have in the future--we have to say a very big 'thank you' to Jane Silman and Mavis Yates from whom we acquired our first Bernese, Daneberg Forces Sweetheart (Rio) - from the long line of success that the Daneberg and Mavanne lines have had in the past (present and future) we hope that the name of 'Danmelad' can keep up the good work in the future. We thank them for their continued support.
